Lithography is a printing process that uses a flat stone or metal plate on which the image areas are worked using a greasy substance so that the ink will adhere to them, while the non-image areas are made ink-repellent. My first interaction with lithography happened in the second year of study when, from the need to find my peace in a place where I could work, where no one could distract me. I find this place in the lithography studio. There I picked a stone and I started to prepare it as it should then I drew on it with a greasy-based pencil. When I made the first lithography I found a feeling of joy, something different in this old technique that is used less frequently today and this fact got me closer to it. Lithography has attracted my attention from the beginning. I'm thankful I have the opportunity to practice this technique and enjoy a lithography studio in college.
